Level 3 Building Survey

The RICS level 3 survey is the most comprehensive assessment of a property and is suitable for properties more than 100 years old, or that have had several extensions.

The level 3 survey examines and describes the build of the property and analyses what issues are impacting on the integrity of the structure. The level 3 survey is a more invasive inspection and takes potentially several hours on site.

Cracking and building movement are more prevalent in older homes and the level 3 survey will differentiate between the various types of building movement.

In addition to analysis of the defects, the survey also recommends a pathway for remedy. With prior agreement, typical costings for the repairs and replacement are also included.
